Trezix shortage??
Does anyone know if Trezix (generic version)has been discontinued? My pharmacy is telling me they can no longer get it and several others have told me their warehouse has very low stock, as well. Thanks!
@spotter I have not been able to find anything that indicates there is a shortage or discontinuation of the drug Trezix or its generic. I do know that certain drug manufacturers are contracted to produce a certain quantity of medications for the year and then stop production. This may be what is affecting your ability to get the drug. I'm sorry this isn't a big help. Warmly, Cheryl migraine.com team
I wonder if it has something to do with ongoing supply chain issues because of the pandemic. I know that I'm seeing sporadic issues getting certain foods here in NJ. I wouldn't be surprised if other sectors were affected as well. It also might be because of the general crackdown on opioids. The black box warning on Trezix's website is a mile long.
