Visual aura for the first time in my life at the END of a migraine - concerned for seizure

Hi, I (35F) am hoping for some clarification regarding a recent experience that I'm afraid could have been a seizure.

I've had migraines since I was 18, but I've never had visual aura. I started taking wellbutrin (bupropion) 150 mg extended release 3.5 weeks ago for depression. I was a bit hesitant because it can lower seizure threshold and is contraindicated with seizure disorders. I've never had seizures, just migraines, but I believe there's a connection between the two that isn't fully understood?

My migraines vary in intensity but this one was bad. I don’t always get much light sensitivity but it was extreme this time. The nausea and dizziness was bad as well. I took my triptan and it kept getting worse. I started sobbing and felt like I was going to die. I took my blood pressure because I was pretty convinced I was going to have to go to the ER and was dying. A few minutes later I started seeing green circles mostly in my right field of vision. I closed my eyes and was still seeing them. They were going from smaller to larger and moving. There was also a bit of what I would describe as northern lights in the background and some pixelated looking multi-colored confetti. I felt almost high at this point? Like I was watching them and aware but also felt like I was on a weird trippy ride. It stopped as suddenly as it started after maybe 45 seconds. After it stopped my pain and light sensitivity was much improved.

I know migraines can change over time. But when I researched this, the shapes/lights were more aligned with a focal aware seizure than migraine aura. And it was at the tail end of the migraine and started and stopped abruptly.

I'm going to stop taking the medicine because I feel it's just too much to be a coincidence. I can't really find anything that closely matches my experience though and was wondering if anyone could share any insight?

I did find some information about wellbutrin being contraindicated for structural brain lesions. I do have white matter hyperintensities associated with migraine but I'm not sure if that is considered structural lesions.
