McDonald's burger... no cheese. It's not the actual food that helps, it's the comfort.

we can't underestimate comfort food - regardless of what it is! For me it is macaroni and cheese.
How did you discover this was your comfort food?

I've found that simple recipes with fresh ingredients work best for me. Things like grilled chicken with roasted veggies, plain baked potatoes, or oatmeal with a little honey and fresh fruit are my go-tos. I avoid anything processed, aged cheese, or foods with strong seasonings.

That sounds smart in general and specific to migraine as well. I eat similarly. Did you do an elimination diet to discern which foods triggered an attack? https://migraine.com/blog/whats-elimination-diet-manage-one. I did an elimination diet and learned that dairy and gluten were triggers for me. I already knew that certain nuts, alcohol, and processed foods set me off. Thanks so much for sharing your approach with us. Warmly - Holly (team member)
