What to do in chronic migraines?

I have migraine detected in 2015 and took medicine and migraines went away. But recently I am having migraine attack everyday and only medicine working is NT Grain. I take this medicine then pain goes away. I have pain only in one nerve in my brain on left side makes me feel like eye going to fall out. Please I’m been three separate doctors and only thing they could identify is migraine. I am concerned it might be something else.

You may want to seek out the advice of a headache specialist. They only work with patients that have migraine and other types of headache. Here is a link to a website that can help you find one.

These experts may be able to determine whether you are experiencing a migraine or something else. Have you had an MRI recently?

    1. Hi I've just read your post and I'm experiencing the same problems migraine is now almost every day excruciating pain on the left side and it feels like a hot poker is in my left eye .Aura has been with me constantly and nothing seems to help 😕

      1. Oh no, I'm so sorry you are going through this. When we have new and/or different symptoms, it's important to reach out to the doctor so he/she can make sure everything checks out OK. Will you keep us posted? Nancy Harris Bonk, Patient Leader/Moderator Migraine.com Team
