Is it normal to experience a fever with a migraine?

I have had migraines for going on 11 years and just recently I’ve started having a fever with it.

  1. Hi phillips415,

Thank you for your question! It's not uncommon for our migraine attack patterns to change over time. Fever is not common with migraine attack, but possible.

The thing is when we have new and/or different migraine attack symptoms or patterns, it's always a good idea to discuss them with the doctor so he can make sure everything checks out OK.

Let us know how you make out,
    Nancy

    1. Yes, I have this a lot . It feels like my core is overheating and I can’t get cool. Goes on for hours and hours. Have walked around with ice pack on head. Seems to help a little
