Headache every single day with migraine throw in there too!

My name is Lori and I am 23 years old. I have been suffering with headaches/migraines for the past year now. They started in may when I had a slight neck injury. I'm not sure if thats 100% to blame for why I am suffering now. I got my first migraine in august 2011 and its never went away since. Now I suffer with daily headaches and I get mirgaines 2-3 times a week.

I dont know if having my first aura with no pain at the age of 12 was a hint that I might suffer with migraines. I never mentioned it to anyone cause it only happend about twice and then went away. But I have never suffred headaches and migraines until last year.

I havent really found triggers yet exepect for when I get my period. But that doesnt explain the other migraines I get when Im not near my cylce. I've been on Nortriptyle 100mg since august 2011. I'v been on topamax, I dont think that helped much. And now I'm on Verapamil and zanaflax and Imitrex for my migraines.

I'm losing my mind having a headache everyday. And when those migraines hit I dont know what to do with myself. I can no longer do the things I loved to do. I cant work out, I cant go out with my friends like I used to, I'm not in school at the momet all because I'm in constant pain all the time. I keep trying treatments and they dont work. I feel as if I'm destined to suffer all my life.

I just had trigger point injections yesterday, anybody see relif with that? I atually got a migraine this morning from feeling sore from it, so I had to pop in an imitrex. I fear of rebound so I try not to take it often, but we all know when we are in pain we would do anything to get rid of it.

I really hope I find a treament that works one day so I can be happy and enjoy my life with friends and family.
