Hope at Last, From a Green Lamp

I've had chronic migraines for more than 20 years. I finally found a Pharm D as my primary healthcare provider, who has patiently worked with me to find solutions. Using the Migraine Buddy app helps me track the frequency and severity of the migraines, allowing me to send reports directly to her electronically.
The Migraine Summit was where I learned about the Allay Lamp, pioneered by Dr. Rami Burstein of Harvard.
Thanks to my Pharm D, Migraine Buddy, and the Allay Lamp, I recently went a record 27 days without a migraine. And now I can stop a migraine by using Extra Strength acetaminophen. If it becomes painful, I have nasal ketamine. For the nausea I occasionally take promethazine. But I use the green Allay lamp every morning and evening to prevent attacks, simply by using it as my light source in my bathroom at the beginning and end of the day.
I discovered eating gluten-free is also a factor in avoiding migraines, as well as staying on top of seasonal allergies and keeping regular sleeping and meal schedules.
I finally feel like I am in control of the migraines. rather than the other way around!
