My Migraine Story

My name is Rosemary and I have suffered with migraine/cluster headaches for forty eight years or more. I don’t have the aura with my headaches but I have in the past. They are almost daily and average from a level three to ten plus. I have tried everything there is to try and every type physician available. All medications available and unfortunately nothing has helped. I spent a week in the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I have suffered the isolation, depression, job problems, family problems and all that everyone else has.

Welcome to the ‘club’ Rosemary. We feel and identify with your pain. Sometimes I tell myself not to comment on stories but when I read more stories like yours, I wish that I could just throw a switch and all our pains will go away just like that. I am not an expert on migraines but we do have some of them on this site. I would like to refer you to Teri Roberts blog: http://migraine.com/blog/migraine-management-essentials/ maybe it would help a little to understand more of what is happening to you. As she says: “You are NOT alone and there IS hope”. These words keep me going when it seems like I want to drown in pain, frustration and depression. You are in my prayers. God bless.
