Looked and didn't see anything in the Natural remedies section. Anyone tried it? I am going in tomorrow for my introduction and first session. I need to get away from the medications.
If you have tried it, any thoughts, did it work for you, did it help at all?
I am at 25mg of Topamax a day, the migraines have decided on a a 3 day off 2 day on schedule of their own, some really bad. I have a prescription for an anti-depressant low dose, but so far all the side affects of these drugs are almost as bad as the migraines.

    Thank you for your questions, let me see what information I can provide you with.

    There are many natural remedies you can try. I'm currently taking magnesium and think it helps a bit. Something to keep in mind is it can take up to 90 days before we see a reduction in our migraine frequency and severity when we start new medications and/or supplements. I've tried PT, acupressure, biofeedback, cranial sacral therapy, and massage. I'm currently taking yoga classes and use meditation to help me relax and focus. I've not tried acupuncture but know people who have and have good results from it. You can find our natural remedy section here;

    1. Thank you Nancy. The first two sessions triggered bad migraines, which means there is something to acupuncture. The last session was a de-tox, along the spine. I picked up magnesium and b2, will start that as well. My acupuncturist has suggested yoga as well. I may have to up my topamax to combat the migraines, hate to do it, but at least it was helping the frequency. As I read more and more on here, it appears I will continue the search and battle along with everyone else. Thank you for a wonderful site. Will let you know as the acupuncture continues.

        1. I burned through everything my acupuncturist/chiropractor could come up with over 6 months.. Didn't expect anything revolutionary.
