Hi, and I hope you’re all doing okay. I wondered if anyone has ever tried this? It’s not cheap but if it worked ….! Tigger

Cefaly
Treatment and prevention of migraines
Cefaly offers the best safety efficacy ratio compared to current anti-migraine oral medication. It is the first line treatment for patients having frequent migraine attacks. Cefaly enables the use of medicines to be significantly reduced and the sufferer's quality of life to be markedly improved. It is the solution for most of migraineurs. Cefaly bears the CE Medical mark, is certified to the ISO Medical standard.

  1. this is such a great question. And I agree, some treatment options out there are a little pricey, but if they work, they could be worth it! I can't speak to this treatment firsthand, but perhaps someone in our community will join this conversation to give their personal experience.

In the meantime, I wanted to share an article that was written by one of our advocates here in this community. I included the link below. I hope it helps.

    1. Hi there - Great question. We have a fair amount of resources on this topic which you can find by going to our search bar (top left) and entering "cefaly." has given you a great start with the link she sent- I wanted to add this one too as it has a lot of good community comments that follow it: https://migraine.com/blog/cefaly-questions-answered.
Please let us know if you have additional questions. I'm assuming you're considering trying it?
You're right that it's expensive. However, a quick look online shows that there may be some savings or loyalty programs that may offset the expense a bit. Just google "cefaly savings program"

      1. Hey there, Tigger ( ). Hoping you are well also. What a wonderful topic to start here on Migraine.com! Thanks for showing up and leaving a post for the community. Hopefully, you've had the chance to check out the links sent by Alene and Holly. There is some great info there that can help those wishing to better their therapy or ease symptoms of migraine when other treatments have less than effective results. Some here in the community find one treatment sufficient, but because we are very different and migraines show up differently in individuals, the idea of using combination therapy to assist in managing the pain is offered. Are you currently only using Cefaly to assist or are there other therapies that are in addition to this regimen that help lessen migraine symptoms? It's definitely a great subject to bring up with a head specialist, migraine physician, and/or neurologist if treatment is lacking or failing. Thanks for putting this question out there and offering up the info you have. Wishing you better health in 2024. Regards, Rebecca (community moderator)

        1. Thanks for taking the time to paste the links. I found the reviews helpful.

          1. I am glad that you enjoyed this article!! We hope that you continue to read and share your thoughts on the various topics. How is your weekend so far? Any weather-related things going on there? We are experiencing extreme cold for my part of the US, and, a Winter storm tomorrow/Monday. Stay warm. (Tonya, migraine.com contributor).
