Migraine/Activities & Work

Hello All,
Lots of guilt with these migraines lately. Missing out on family activities and work is so difficult and this is questionable when I can't seem to get out of bed. Have them at least once a week. How do people deal with work?

Anyway, I'm getting migraines that seem to stem from my back and neck. However, they go from side to side as well. I have the bobbly headed feeling a lot, heavy head, and don't feel balanced. Just bought a new mattress to help with this issue. However, I'm still getting them. I do have a slight scoliosis, and shorter leg than the other.

I have a highly stressful job, but thankfully, I work from home. Still it's hard. I have to log off when this feeling comes along.

Can anyone shed some light on what types of migraines I'm having?

  1. Hi , I'm so sorry to hear about the guilt that you're dealing with on top of the migraine attacks you've been experiencing. It really sounds like you're managing a lot, and working with migraine can really be challenging. You're not alone! In fact, I wanted to share this article with you that one of our health leaders wrote about the guilt, https://migraine.com/living-migraine/managing-guilt.

Also, do you see a doctor for migraine? Hopefully some of our community members here can share their thoughts with you, but in the meantime I wanted to share this article about types of migraine, https://migraine.com/migraine-types, and maybe something will sound similar to what you experience.

Please know that this community is here for you. Sending you gentle hugs. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
