Migraine-Covid Vaccine
Hi, I have a history of hemi-cranial headache. I have worked in the healthcare and always received the flu vaccine. The last 2 years I received it, it threw me in to a severe migraine. I literally suffered for 2 months trying everything to get rid of it , then end up being hospitalized. Now I have an issue with worrying about the Covid vaccine and my headaches. I am stressing out about this, it brings back horrible migraine memories. Has any one received a Covid vaccine and suffered with a migraine from it? I understand it may sound ridiculous knowing about Covid, but I am also up against an Allergist saying it’s risky for me to get it due to an allergic reaction I had with a IV medication. I am 58 and am really surprised that as I have gotten older, so have my migraines. Thank you for any help! LJ
I meant to say as I have gotten older, my migraines have gotten worse.

I definitely had a severe headache after both Moderna vaccines that lasted 10 days, but I wouldn't classify it as a migraine for me. I normally get vertigo as a prodrome to my vestibular migraines, which I did not have at the time. But, there are reports, as April above mentioned, that people have had migraines come about from the vaccines. Clink link below to get to the article:

I would take heed - listen to a professional's advice - regarding your migraines, allergies, adverse reaction to IV meds, and getting the COVID19 vaccines.
