Migraine and MRI

Hello, I’m new here. Looking to see if anyone has any help or similar circumstances.
I had an MRI 2 weeks ago, all came back with nothing sinister going on, but the doctor has today told me I have a frontal lobe density.
I have absolutely no idea what this is, she wouldn’t explain to much over the phone and I have to wait till next week. I suffer terrible migraines that can last over 2 weeks sometimes. They give me medication that doesn’t work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

  1. Hey there, . Welcome to the community. 😀 I hope you can find some comfort here.

Unfortunately, we can't give medical advice here for your own safety. I'm sorry your doctor didn't give you a lot of information about your results. That's frustrating! I am hopeful that it's nothing too serious. Typically, something very alarming would lead to them telling you to come in right away. So try not to worry too much.

I'm not sure where you're located, but if your medication isn't working, it's a good idea to have a conversation about that so you can move on to something else. If they are not a neurologist or a headache specialist, I would encourage you to ask them to refer you to someone. GPs aren't experts in everything, and having an expert on your side is a good idea.

Feel free to ask us any other migraine questions you might have and we'll do our best to help. We are here to support you! Keep in touch and let us know how it goes with your doctor. Take care! -Melissa, migraine.com team
