Sex and Migraine: Trigger or Relief?

Does sexual activity ever act as a trigger for your migraine attacks, either before, during, or after? Or, conversely, have you ever found it to be a surprising means of relief from migraine pain or symptoms?

    1. Both. More often, though, it is a trigger. Great sex sleep with an ice pack on my head.

          1. Hi , it sounds like migraine has truly disrupted your ability to have any intimacy with your wife. While I'm happy to hear that she's been an incredible support for you, I'm saddened to hear that you've felt frustrated with yourself because of it. Migraine seems to take so much and give little in return. Have you shared any of how you've been feeling with her or are those the times when you've found yourself unable to speak or at a loss for words? Please don't hesitate to reach out to this community when you've been feeling down. We're here for you! - Warmly, Courtney (Team Member)
