Hello everyone, i seem to get a migraine every 3 weeks. Theyre not too severe but very predictable. Does anyone have any ideas about a possible trigger? Im male, 50s
Hi - There are a variety of ways that you may be able to pin down a possible trigger. One way is using something like a trigger log. Here's a simple breakdown of what that might look like:
When I was first diagnosed with migraine, I would write down the time, where I was, and what I was doing when I first noticed migraine symptoms beginning. I also wrote down a few details about what I was doing earlier that day. For example, it might read "7pm, driving home from the movies, person next to me was wearing scented products". Then over time, you can start to look for patterns. It can be as detailed or simple as you want, just enough so that you can learn from it.
I hope this helps to get you started. It may take time to learn some or all of your triggers. But it is possible! I do also think it's important to note that some people don't ever identify any triggers for their migraines. We're all a bit different, so your milage may vary! - Cody (Team Member)
