Why Do I Wake Up With Migraines?

When I have a migraine, they wake me early in the morning (between 3-5 am usually) and I can’t get relief.

Are there any suggestions for why my migraines start in the early hours of the morning?

  1. Hi ,

I found an article written by one of our team members from a few years ago that discusses potential causes of early morning head pain. If you'd like to check it out, you can find it here: https://migraine.com/expert/three-causes-early-morning-headache/

I also found a forum on this exact question that someone else asked previously and thought it may be beneficial for you to read through some of those answers as well! That post can be found here: https://migraine.com/q-and-a/wake-migraine/

I hope this gives you some answers and also reassures you that there are many others right there with you. Sending hugs your way.
