Self Help Books?

I suffer from migraines 3-5 times a week. I’m a manager, my team and job are extremely important to me. I drag myself to work no matter what to make sure I am there. I am completely open about migraines to my peers and team. I know it’s selfish to say, but I wish I was recognized for the hurdles I have to make each day. In my end of year review I was told I need to work on my composure. Honestly that goal of composure hurt my feelings because I try so hard to be the best I can each day. I understand that to be a strong leader I need to be balanced and chronic pain doesn’t always allow that. Has anyone found any self help books that have helped them balancing pain while being a strong leader or support system?
