What sort of migraine is this?

Hi there,

My girlfriend recently (Tuesday morning four days ago) experienced symptoms of migraine.
She felt very dizzy, had a severe headache, and couldn't move without feeling very nautious.
She couldn't really eat, and was sick after most of the meals that she did eat.
Symptoms continued to the next day with the same severity, again, pretty much bed bound and unable to really move.

The day after, symptoms improved somewhat but still very sensitive, and then yesterday, syptoms started to improve further.
Today the symptoms appeared to have gotten allot better, but tonight the head ache and dizziness seems to have got a bit worse again,

We're a little worried because we presumed that it would've been gone by now, and so aren't really sure what to do.
Dizziness has returned and so has the headache, and the way she describes it is like an intense hang over.

I was wondering, if anyone had any advice or words of wisdom to impart?
We're new to the crippling world of migraines and are wondering weather this is all normal and what should be done.

Thanks very much,
