Moving Pressure

Has anyone had a feeling of pressure in neck (throat), back and chest at the same time as pressure in the head? Almost a feeling of being pressed down. I have only had dizzines and pressure in the head previously along with aura and the headache (pins and needles in different areas). This is new (only two episodes) so not sure if it is just par for the course or something to be checked on.

  1. Hi LadyGrey,

Thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing new symptoms. Feeling pressure is a reported symptom from people who experience tension headaches - https://migraine.com/headache-types/tension-headaches/, however your inclination to see your doctor is spot on. Here at Migraine.com, we always suggest checking with your doctor when new symptoms present themselves, just so you can be clear on how the pressure relates to your migraine attacks, if there is a relationship, and of course to keep your doctor updated and in the loop on your condition. He or she will definitely be able to provide more in depth information. Please keep us posted here at Migraine.com on your progress. We love hearing from you and we are happy you are a part of our community! Wishing you all the best.

    Warmly,

    Meaghan (Migraine.com Team)

Meaghan gave you great advice. I wanted to emphasize that talking to your doctor is important. Pressure like that could be a side effect of a medication you are on. Have you tried anything new recently? Have it checked out.
      Best wishes!
