Child Migraines Go Undiagnosed
When I was 6 years old, when we would stop at a gas station, I could smell the gas and I'd get a headache with vomiting, etc. My parents said I was getting car sick from riding in the car. Perfumes were a trigger, also. Instead of migraines, I was diagnosed with sinusitis. Not until I was an adult, and diagnosed with migraines, did I get help. What migraine symptoms did you have as a child?
Ugh, gasoline can be so terrible for all kinds of people, both with and without migraine. I'm just curious about your symptoms -- since you asked what other people experienced as a child, did these triggers go away as you got older? Or did more appear? What made you finally get help?
