Dealing with dr’s & meds
Has anyone heard that there is a problem with fiorinal/ butabital- asa- caffeine causing problems for long term use as a back up drug when your other drugs aren’t working? I have taken it as a secondary backup for 35 yrs when my 1st med does not work. My 1st med now is zomig melt or zomig spray. This usually does the trick for me. If it does not though I can follow it with a fiorinal or the generic butabital 325 mg. That always 99% of the time will handle it.
My primary just left a message stating there is now a problem with long term use of this drug though… anyone else come across this issue?
Is it considered habit forming?
I just did a quick Google search and saw that something was discontinued but not sure if it is what you take. I'd call the doctor for explanation and new rescue plan if needed. Best wishes for a speedy resolution.
