Latchkey headaches

I was a latchkey kid so I had to ride the bus home from school being nauseous all the way with a pounding migraine ( we didn't call it that because "kids didn't get those back then"). I'd come home, put the frozen dinner in the stove to start cooking, get a hot water bottle for my neck and a wash cloth for my eyes, drink some tea and rest on the couch until I could start my homework. It was awful.
