Niacinamide

I've had Migraines with Aura for around 5 years more or less. I've also had Glaucoma about 10 years. Earlier this year I
found out on youtube that Niacinamide could stop Glaucoma from getting worse, so I started taking Niacinamide 100
mg. 3 times a day, morning, midday, night. My eye sight got better, and the migraine with aura stopped. I had shoulder
surgery so i stopped taking Niacinamide for about a week. I had 2 mild attacks and I started back with Niacinamide
and the attacks stopped. I have been on Niacinamide for about 4 months. No attacks. I am now taking about 4 to 5
100mg tablets daily.

  1. Wow, , I'm so glad that you've found something that's been helping manage your migraine. That is very interesting about the Niacinamide. Can I ask what your doctor thought about it having a positive impact on both migraine and glaucoma? Although everyone is different when it comes to what might help manage migraine symptoms, I did find this study about Migraine and Niacinamide that I wanted to share here, https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9330821/. Of course, for those interested in trying this, it's always good to check with one's doctor before starting anything new, including supplements, as there could be potential for interactions and/or adverse side effects from too much of the vitamin. That being said, we appreciate you sharing your success and it's great that you're getting some relief! Migraine can be so challenging and frustrating, it is always reassuring to hear from people who have been able to find something that helps them get relief. Wishing you a gentle evening! -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

  2. This is so interesting! I have only ever heard of niacinimide used in beauty products, haha. Very interesting to learn more about its other applications and very glad to hear you've been having good progress with it. I hope that continues! -Melissa, team member
