Solar Storm

Is anyone else getting seriously disrupted by our current giant solar storm? It's so strong that we can see the northern lights all the way down here in Nebraska! I can't sleep, and my migraine is through the roof! My 11 year old niece even got a headache. Please tell me I'm not the only one and what tips/tricks y'all might have for this particular circumstance!

  1. What a great question, ! I hope some of our community members can share any connection they've made to the solar storm that's been going on. (I didn't realize they could be seen all the way down in Nebraska -- I'm in Central Minnesota and people were excited to be able to see them as far "south" as here!) I wish that you weren't experiencing so much pain, though! It certainly hard to be impressed or enjoy the view if one is dealing with migraine through the roof!! I didn't find any specific mention of the solar storm as a trigger, but you might be interested to read about some peoples' experiences with full moon and migraine. I'm not sure if that's something that might be connected together - the moon, a solar storm, migraine. Here is a link to two articles written by two different advocates about the moon and their migraine, https://migraine.com/living-migraine/full-moons and https://migraine.com/living-migraine/the-full-moon. I do hope that you can get some relief! -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
