What Have You Learned About Your Migraines?

I started getting migraines when I was in my early 30s, I made an appointment with the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago. Although I didn't expect it, they had me admitted to their hospital. While there, they tried various medications to see which one was right for me.
I learned so much that week: my triggers and so much more.

What have you learned about how migraine impacts you?

  1. Oh wow, , it sounds like by admitting you they really researched what impacts your migraine and how. Can I ask what you specifically learned about your migraine impacts? Triggers? What medications help?

Hopefully some of our community members here can share their personal experiences with you as well! -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

    1. My main trigger is any changes in the Barometric pressure. Also very bright light.

      1. Now I have chronic daily migraines. I used to get the Equality injection on the first of the month but it was discontinued. So now I have Ubrelvy and Qulipta which I take daily.

      2. do you find the change in treatment has still been as effective? -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

    2. Somewhat. But I had found that with the months I had the Equality the headaches were fewer that particular month.
