My Worst Migraine Attack

I had my worst migraine ever yesterday it was the worst pain I ever experience it was so different than my usual migraines. I had pain behind my eyes my head was so sensitive I couldn’t even use an ice pack. The pain was in front of my head instead of on my side where it usually is. I was like crying in pain because it was so bad. The pain lasted for over 3 1/2 hours. I took my Nurtec and over time I took two of my Maxalt and then I wound up taking Fiornals with that before the pain finally subsided.

I’m better not great they still linger.

In the future, if you have something really different from what's typical for you, or if it's "the worst ever," you should call your doctor right away. They may want you to come in or go to the emergency room for evaluation. Yes it was different but I am a RN so I know when things are really different like an aneurysm. It was different from my usual but still a migraine.

 <inline-mention username="Linder1212" user-id="4210203"/> even if it was a migraine attack It's always good to get yourself checked out in the ER. At the very least touching base with your doctor is a good idea. Migraines can be scary enough when they are "typical" but when they deviate that's when it gets scarier. I have had them for 45 years the er can’t do anything I can’t do at home besides give narcotics. I had enough scans for a lifetime.
