Long battle

My migraines started when I was 11, not many at first, as I reached my 20’s they exploded. I’m currently 66 and I’ve had Dysphasic, sensory and complicated migraine for the past 10 years. The Dysphasia migraines are getting worst now. I’ve tried lots of mediation, some are just o expensive and I can’t afford those, my go to in Imitrex injections. I do receive Botox now which seems to help. Does anyone experience these.

  1. Hi , I'm so glad you've reached out here. I know that we have a lot of community members who experience migraine with aphasia (this term is used interchangeably with dysphasia), and I hope that some of them can connect with you. In the meantime, one of our health leaders wrote about her experience with these types of migraine that I wanted to share with you, https://migraine.com/living-migraine/transient-aphasia-experiences. As well as this article with some tips for managing migraine with aphasia, https://migraine.com/blog/migraine-symptoms-transient-aphasia. You're definitely not alone! Sending you gentle hugs. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
