Medications

I appreciate my family more and more every day and with the headaches reminding me that I have migraines, I am so thankful I have a medications to help with the pain. ( I have migraines 24/7 ). It makes me realize how long it took me to get to this point of medication management to figure out what worked with what. Years upon years... I have a family that just had a stroke and new onset of horrible migraines and they were like you have put up with these all these years? Oh my word! Unfortunately yes sigh but without said love and understanding from the same family member who is speaking to me .. lol . You get the idea . You all take care and hug a loved one today tell them you love them.

  1. I'm so glad you've finally gotten to a place where medication can help some, . It can take so much trial and error and discouragement to get there. Having the support of family and community can really make all the difference. We're here for anyone who needs that! Thanks a lot for sharing. -Melissa, team member

    1. It sounds like you’ve been through such a long road finding what helps, and it’s a reminder of how much persistence it takes to manage something like migraines day in and day out. It’s tough that it took years to get there, but encouraging to hear you’ve found some relief with your current meds. Your perspective on leaning on family support and appreciating them through it all is really powerful.
