Nerivio Infinity Upgrade

Hi everyone - I would love to hear Nerivio users' opinions on the latest device upgrade.

I've been using the wearable device, Nerivio, for almost 4 years now. It has helped cut my medication use down and is especially helpful with migraines that are on the mild side if I catch them right away. I don't even try if I wake up with a skull crusher - Nerivio won't touch that and it'll waste a session. Anyway, I digress -

Nerivio has recently upgraded the device to the "Infinity" version, which is about $200 for the snap-on device and then you still have to pay for the refills. I have no issue with the cost because it's worth the relief, but the Infinity itself leaves much to be desired.

The device now requires that your phone scan the refill unit at every use, and you cannot scan it while it's stuck to your arm. So you have to scan, then apply to your arm, then start the session. Often, it times out while you're applying it to your arm, so you have to remove it and re-scan and work fast to get it situated. This defeats the very purpose of the Nerivio -- a formerly discreet way of keeping a migraine at bay. Now I have to do all of the scanning with my sleeve up for the world to see. Before I could apply the disposable electrode unit to my arm in, say, an airport bathroom and start the therapy session when I was ready -- usually upon takeoff -- which could be an hour or two later. Now, because of the scanning, I have to do all of this right before the session which might be in front of a whole planeload of people, in church, at work... the discretion is gone.

Has anyone else found that the Infinity leaves much to be desired? I wish we could revert back to the disposable units like before.
