Sad Saturday

I woke up on a Saturday morning with a headache and vomiting which wouldn't stop. My husband drove me to the hospital and they gave me a hypo of Demerol. We went home and I slept for about four hours and it all started again so back to the hospital and they gave me another shot of Demerol. This time it stopped the migraine and vomiting. I was 42 years old and had planned on watching my grandson play football but I couldn't do anything that day.

  1. Oh, , that sounds like a terribly sad Saturday! I'm so sorry migraine caused you to miss watching your grandson play football (not to mention the excruciating pain and managing two trips to the hospital). Was this your first experience with a migraine attack? And have you since been able to find some medication that help lesson the attacks and/or ease symptoms? -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
