Anyway wake up some mornings just feeling off

Some mornings I wake up just feeling awkward, a little nausea, nervous, fatigued. I question is this when I take a rescue med. Or do I wake for a more define signal? Any advice would be appreciated

  1. This is such a tough question, . Everyone is going to be a bit different as to what is going to be best. I wonder if you could keep a diary or journal of how you might respond to this feeling. For example, trying to use ways to manage the nausea without a rescue medication for a few days, and then trying to use rescue medication instead. That may give you a sense of how to compare the two. We do also have an article discussing a variety of approaches to nausea. Here's a link: https://migraine.com/blog/managing-nausea. I hope that it helps! - Cody (Team Member)

    1. I have horrible motion sickness & was desperate to find something to help that didn't make me sleepy or dopey. I found Relief-band. It sends electrical pulses into a spot on your wrist. The basic model is around $120 but so well worth it. I use it for travel, migraines, post-op nausea, vertigo. The best part is no drowsiness & it works usually within 5-10 min.

      1. thanks so much for sharing about the Relief-band. Although I don't experience migraine, I do have pretty sensitive motion sickness, but was afraid to splurge on something if it doesn't help. Hearing your positive experience makes me think it might be time to give it a try. I'm so glad to hear that it helps so much, not just with motion sickness, but all the others you mention as well. Do you put it on before the migraine/nausea/vertigo starts? Or is it able to tackle it even after it has already started. Thanks again for sharing about this. We really appreciate hearing your perspective and experience. Wishing you a gentle day! -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

    2. If I know there's going to be an issue, I turn it on beforehand. But, if there's a surprise nausea it works in minutes so you can just be still for a few minutes until it starts working.

      1. oh that's great! Thanks for clarifying for me. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
