Migraines

I was 10 when I had my first one in school I went blind and yelled to the nun then started throwing up the children were worried They went home and told there parents I could not go back to school until a Dr told the school that he put me on medicine 3 times a day and it shouldnt happen again I had to wear sunglasses because of the florescent lights I am now 65 and still have very bad migraines I've noticed that lots of food and caffeine play a big part in my recovery

  1. Hi. Going through a migraine attack when you're young and don't understand what's happening is terrifying. I feel for you, and I'm sure that the knowledge and treatments we had available 50 years ago were much different. I'm sorry that you're still struggling. It's good to know that you can influence your recovery at least a little by what you eat and drink. Do others in your family have migraine as well? Just curious.
