Diminished effect

So often when you are on a specific treatment after a few months or maybe a year, the effects seem to wane. I'm 63 and this has been my experience my entire life. I'm very grateful for new and improved medication though I am concerned with long-term effects of so many of these cgrps because they haven't been around for very long. Some times it feels somewhat like a guinea pig. So we press on and Hope that there will be that treatment that will be effective in lasting

  1. Hi
Yes, I agree and it's no wonder we all feel like guinea pigs! You're not alone in this as most of us have been on a specific treatment works for a while, then suddenly stops. It's so frustrating. I can't help but wonder if it's the nature of migraine disease.
Is your current treatment plan working? I don't want you to lose hope as there are over 100 medications, supplements, devices, complementary therapies and lifestyle modifications that can be used to manage migraine disease. Most of us are on a combination of these, I sure am!
