HELP Eyeglasses causing head pain leads to migraine

Greetings - what do you guys do, I have been to may doctors...any eyeglasses, even with padding, seem to hurt my eyes after awhile, leading to migraine. I have both types of vision issues, have tried bifocal contacts...the vision correction isn't spot on (it medically can't be), but it is close, but the lack of totally clear vision, ALSO leads to nausea and migraine with the contacts, and I find the strength of the contacts, to fade quickly. Anything on my head is a trigger, I can't wear my hair back even. Any advice? THANK YOU in advance. -Lisa

  1. Ugh, how frustrating, , that your glasses (and contacts) end up trigger migraine attacks! What a difficult situation to be in. I hope community members can share any of their ideas or advice. Unfortunately I don't have much to contribute to the conversation, except for wondering if you've tried all types of frames. (Although I imagine you have.) I have a friend who can only tolerate a certain type of frames because anything else are "too heavy" and cause head pain. She was able to find a metal frame that was made with a super-light material that she could tolerate. I'm not sure if that's something that would be an option for you or not. Hopefully you can get some other helpful feedback here! -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
